Set of five Rosewood Ant chairs designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen Denmark, circa 1950. The Ant (Danish: Myren) chair. Designed in 1952 by Arne Jacobsen for use in the canteen of the Danish pharmaceutical firm Novo Nordisk. The Ant was named for its approximate similarity to the outline of an ant with its head raised. Set of five early production rosewood Ant chairs.
Ensemble de cinq chaises, modele fourmi en palissandre. Conçu par Arne Jacobsen pour Fritz Hansen Danemark, vers 1950. La chaise Ant (Danish: Myren). Conçu en 1952 par Arne Jacobsen pour la cantine de la société pharmaceutique danoise Novo Nordisk.
